Kaizers Orchestra - Ompa til du dør

well, i know they’re pretty well known, but i must admit, i liked them before, but only now have i fallen in love. used to be pretty appalled at his accent. but now i’ve come to realise its pretty hot. very much so, indeed. the barb says so is his behind.

mh, first song i liked was the first on the CD, Kontroll på kontinente. then i fell in love with Ompa til du dør. but now i really have found my songs. wow.

Død manns tango is just such a fantastic story. i am not sure it’s easy to understand if you dont speak or understand any norwegian, i’ll have to ask the barb and the pete some time, but well, i just love it.

but even better than that, in my humble opinion, is 170. ett-hundre-sytti, that is.. stroy bout a guy who went into the army, says when he comes out he’ll be a dad. the days pass, and he writes letters home, but never gets any response. and then after half a year of wounds and torment some general sends him out as a scout to check whether all is clear, and he begs him to let him go, cause he got a wife and a kid. but he has to go, and is lost. so sad, so powerful. especially 2:38, when the general orders him out.. what a voice, what drums, wow. epic. love it.
tunes stuck in my head
