INTRODUCTION
Greetings from Vienna, the capital of Austria in the heart of continental Europe!
If you've arrived here without any knowledge of patch collecting, you will hopefully become a bit interested in this fascinating and rewarding hobby while surfing my pages. Click here to find out what a "patch" actually is.
If you're already a collector yourself, however, you will certainly
understand my enthusiasm. Thank you for visiting my site!
I began collecting law enforcement patches and memorabilia in 1989
and turned into a real "patchaholic" in 1995-96. I got my very first police
patch ever while I spent some days in San Francisco. A guy who was not
at all into patches but realized my interest in police-related things gave
me a Dallas, Texas PD emblem he didn't need. That's how it all started....
In 1996 I eventually went online and the Internet has become an indispensable tool (and a lot of fun) in my efforts to expand upon my collection. Additionally, I have met many great people while collecting and made a lot of true friends in the police as well as other professions. This has become much more than a simple hobby...! Click here to see a photo of me in front of a part of my law enforcement patch collection.
Are You A Patchaholic ?
Do you enjoy collecting law enforcement
insignia ? If you are interested in a patch
trade, feel free to send me an email.
You will find a brief Trade List on this site.
My stock is usually rather small and subject to constant changes.
If you can tell me what you have for trade, however, I will be sure
to tell you which additional items might currently be available for trade
(- mostly Austrian, European, and US emblems).
Please check out my Trade Policy as
well!
Looking For Police Vehicle Pictures ?
Are you after photos of police vehicles
? As I get to travel quite a bit, I have lots of pictures of police cruisers,
vans, buses, motorbikes, etc. from Europe and the States.
In general, I will trade these photos for patches
rather than other photos as my main focus is on patch collecting. Email
me if you want to trade patches for some of my photos.
BEFORE MOVING ON:
PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO SHARE IN MOURNING ALL THOSE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN AROUND THE HORRIBLE ATTACKS ON THE WORLD TRADE CENTER AND THE PENTAGON AS WELL AS THE PLANE CRASH NEAR PITTSBURGH ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2001. MANY OF THE VICTIMS WERE POLICE OFFICERS, FIREFIGHTERS, AND EMERGENCY PERSONNEL. THEY WORE THEIR PATCHES AND INSIGNIA WITH PRIDE AND WERE KILLED WHILE RESCUING OTHERS...!
This patch was made for the Joint Anti-Terrorist Task Force formed
after the last WTC attack in 1993 and has become most collectible and
historical! The trade tower in flames appears shockingly "prophetic."
Please note that the pictured emblem is NOT FOR
TRADE!
